To open a bank account in India, you must go to your local bank branch and present your identification documents. You will need to provide proof of your identity, such as aadhar card, passport or driver’s license.
In addition, you will need to provide proof of your address, such as a utility bill or lease agreement. The bank may also ask for tax forms from the government if you live in a foreign country or are moving abroad.
